Teckrez is pleased to announce the launch of Teckrez’s Thermoset Platform, a dedicated portfolio built to give formulators a broader, better-supported toolbox in epoxy and other thermoset chemistries. Serving markets from coatings, adhesives, and sealants to composites and beyond, the platform is designed for customers who want not just products, but application knowledge depth and reliable supply. That’s the gap this platform is built to close.

To lead the effort, we’re excited to welcome Dwight Baker as Thermosets Platform Leader. Dwight brings more than three decades in the chemical industry, with the last 20-plus years focused on aerospace, composites, and advanced materials, including a long tenure at Composites One, where he led the Aerospace and Advanced Composites teams, followed by several years as an independent consultant across the composites industry. That depth of hands-on materials expertise paired with a broad market perspective makes him uniquely suited to build this platform. Dwight will own the product portfolio, deepen our supplier partnerships, and work directly with customers on their formulation challenges. His arrival reflects the seriousness of Teckrez’s commitment to this space; a dedicated platform with dedicated leadership, not a bolt-on to an existing line.

A cornerstone of the platform is a deliberately diversified supplier network built for resilience and quality. In August 2026, our team traveled to Dalton, Georgia to meet with Aditya Birla and tour their epoxy manufacturing operations in person. Seeing the plant firsthand and meeting the technical and operations teams is central to how Teckrez vets the partners we bring to our customers. That domestic epoxy supply gives formulators shorter, more resilient lead times and the security of a North American source, a meaningful advantage in today’s sourcing environment.

The platform also brings specialty crosslinking and reactive modification chemistries to our customers through our partnership with Nippon Shokubai. Their EPOCROS oxazoline-functional polymers serve as VOC-free waterborne crosslinkers that react with carboxyl groups at relatively low temperatures with no by-product, improving water, solvent, and heat resistance and boosting adhesion, with wide use in waterborne coatings, inks, primers, and pressure-sensitive adhesives, particularly on films like PET and OPP. Their EPOMIN polyethylenimine, the most cation-dense polymer available, is a highly reactive polyamine used across adhesion promotion, laminate anchor coatings, epoxy resin crosslinking, inks, water treatment, and metal chelation. Together they extend the platform well beyond base epoxy resins into the reactive additives and performance modifiers that let formulators dial in exactly the properties they need.

The platform spans epoxy and other thermoset resins, modifiers, curing agents, and crosslinkers engineered for real-world formulation demands, each backed by hands-on technical support from our product development team. As the portfolio moves from qualification into full commercial launch, we’ll be rolling out specific product lines, grades, and application data over the coming quarters, along with the trade names that will carry them to market. We’re taking a deliberate approach: products go out under their formal names once they’re fully launched and validated, not before.

This is just the beginning. Watch this space as the Thermoset Platform grows and reach out to Dwight and the product development team to see how these chemistries can solve your next formulation challenge.
