Jacksonville, Florida – Teckrez has announced an increase of $0.35/lb on glacial methacrylic acid (GMAA) in drums to be effective January 1, 2021. The price of GMAA has increased with strong global demand and reduced availability. Major Asian producers have restricted the amount of GMAA exported to North America and a US producer has announced a plant shut down. Implementation of the increase will vary in accordance with customer supply agreements and contracts.
