In the four-page article, Eckhardt describes some of the factors responsible for high demand of rosin tackifiers which includes limitations on Tall Oil and hydrocarbon resin supply and increased use of polymers which favor rosin tackifier use. Such factors suggest that users of rosin based tackifiers can and should improve strategic sourcing positions by selecting non-Tall Oil sources from a well positioned, knowledgeable rosin tackifier supplier.
