Quality Policy

Teckrez, LLC is committed to supply products to customers in-specification, on-time, in-full at agreed pricing.

Teckrez, LLC has established a Quality Management System and is committed to the effective implementation of this QMS.

There are four major elements to our Quality Management System:

Quality Policy

A statement of our commitment to meeting agreed customer requirements to achieve customer satisfaction, and to exceed customer expectations if possible.

 

Processes and Procedures

Processes, procedures and supporting documentation have been identified and prepared to define responsibilities within our organization for each part of the process, and are consistently followed to fulfil these commitments.

 

Assessment Criteria

To reliably source and supply the products and services that Teckrez has agreed to provide its customers, we have established specific criteria for supplier approval, product technology and quality, customer qualification and other necessary qualifications. Via the identification, acquisition and development of data from supplier-partners we will achieve the quality required by our customers.

 

Continuous Improvement

Through non-conformance reporting and investigation we are committed to ongoing improvement in the quality of our products and services. Our Quality Management System is designed to achieve customer satisfaction by preventing non-conformity at all stages, from production/ordering through delivery/servicing.

Environmental Policy

• Teckrez LLC is committed to carry out all its activities in compliance with relevant environmental legislation and relevant industry Codes of Practice in all territories in which it operates.

• Teckrez LLC is committed to the prevention of pollution and to ongoing improvements in its environmental profile.

• We seek to minimize waste by promoting recycling, sustainability, reducing energy consumption, and to work with suppliers, contractors and customers who align with our Quality, Environmental and Sustainability standards.

• Achievement of this policy is reliant on the commitment of all Teckrez employees to uphold procedures, be proactive with improvement ideas, and to consider and effectively manage risk and change.

• Teckrez Leadership Team is committed to providing the resources and facilities necessary for achieving objectives and fulfilling this policy.

• The obligations and responsibilities required by this Environmental Policy have been communicated to all employees, and this policy is available to the public via our website.

Corporate Social Responsibility and Ethical Trading (CSR) Policy

Policy Statement 

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a business approach that contributes to sustainable development and sustainable procurement by delivering economic, social and environmental benefits for all stakeholders. The essential characteristic of Social Responsibility is the willingness of an organization to incorporate social, environmental and sustainability considerations in its decision making and be accountable for the impacts of its decisions and activities on society and the environment in an open and transparent manner.

To enhance our CSR commitment Teckrez, LLC participates in the Ecovadis “Together for Sustainability” (TfS) program and has achieved Silver Status.

Responsible Care and Responsible Distribution

Responsible Care/Responsible Distribution is a voluntary code of conduct established by the global chemical manufacturing and supply industries which extends well beyond compliance with the minimum legal and regulatory requirements. Teckrez LLC as a Candidate Member of ACD (the US-based Alliance for Chemical Distribution trade association) is a formal signatory of the Responsible Distribution program, committing Teckrez to the industry-wide guiding principles of Responsible Distribution operating in the USA.

Commitment to meet the Social Aspects of CSR

• We are committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for our employees in accordance with local Health and Safety regulations.

• We will not engage in, or support discrimination in recruitment, compensation, access to training, promotions or terminations of employment based on race, national origin, religion, disability, gender or sexual orientation and maintain a transparent recruitment process.

• Employment is freely chosen and freedom of association to belong, or not to belong, to a recognized Union of the employee’s choice and the right to collective bargaining are respected. We recognize and accept the fundamental human rights of all our employees.

• Learning and training opportunities are equally available to all employees with training opportunities identified at annual performance reviews.

• Working hours and terms and conditions of employment comply with applicable laws and industry standards, and have due regard for the welfare and well-being of individuals.

• We are committed to resolving employee grievances as quickly as possible.

• We oppose the exploitation of workers, all forced labor practices especially those involving harsh or inhumane treatment of workers, and the exploitation of children and child labor.

Ethical Trading 

In order to meet the Fair Business Practice Aspects of CSR we are dedicated to:

• Conducting our business according to our Anti-bribery and Corruption Policy
• Complying with the laws and regulations within the countries in which we operate
• Conducting our business according to our Anti-Competitive Activity Policy
• Working with suppliers who can demonstrate regard for product quality and the health, safety and welfare of their workers and the environment via their own CSR and sustainability commitments.
• We are opposed to any illegal practices involving fraud or money laundering and are committed to resolving any conflicts of interest

Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Policy

Policy Statement

Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking is a criminal offence under the US Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 (Pub. L. 106-386), as amended (TVPA), and the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children, supplementing the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (the Palermo Protocol); which describe this compelled service using a number of different terms, including involuntary servitude, slavery or practices similar to slavery, debt bondage, and forced labor.
Teckrez, LLC has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, human trafficking and forced labor and we are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all of our business dealings and relationships and to implementing and monitoring effective systems and controls to ensure forced labor, child labor or human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our business or in any of our supply chains.
This Policy applies to all persons working for Teckrez, or on behalf of Teckrez in any capacity, including employees at all levels, directors, managers, consultants, temporary or agency staff, logistics contractors, and all other third-party suppliers of goods and services.

Transparency in our Supply Chain

We are committed to ensuring there is transparency in our own business and in our approach to tackling modern slavery throughout our supply chains and demand the same high standards from all our contractors, suppliers and other business partners. Furthermore, we expect our suppliers to hold their own suppliers to the same high standards.

Responsibility for the Policy

The President and CEO of Teckrez, LLC and the Leadership Team take responsibility for implementing this Policy and its objectives, and will provide adequate training and auditing resources and investment to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within the business or its supply chains.

Compliance with the Policy

All Teckrez employees are required to read, understand and comply with this Policy.
All Teckrez employees are encouraged to raise concerns about any issue or suspicion of modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chains. If an employee suspects or believes that a breach of this Policy has taken place, or may occur in the future, they must notify their Line Manager as soon as possible. With respect to The Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) our imports into the USA are monitored and we confirm that no Teckrez materials originate in the Uyghur Regions.

Communication and Awareness of this Policy

This Policy has been communicated to all Teckrez employees to raise awareness of Modern Slavery, Human Trafficking and forced labor issues and their role in increasing transparency in our supply chains. Our zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery is being communicated to all suppliers, contractors and business partners.
