JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA – Teckrez, LLC announced today that Eric Rigel has joined the tackifier resin and acrylic monomer company as Vice President Product Development.
Rigel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from The Citadel. Rigel joins Teckrez from IMCD where he was a Principal Manager responsible for the strategy and relationships for the largest and most prominent suppliers to the coatings industry.
He brings over 16 years of specialty chemical experience ranging from new product development, business management, and finance and strategy. He started his career with Ingevity (formerly MeadWestvaco) and grew into multiple roles within the organization for 7 years. At Arkema Rigel was responsible for the North American Thiochemicals market and developed and implemented a distribution strategy and network to grow sales and market penetration.
At IMCD Rigel was a leader in business and chemical distribution strategy, growing his line of Principals during some of the toughest market conditions in the coatings segment. It was also at IMCD where Rigel worked on strategic initiatives to grow the Principal pipeline and onboarded new suppliers based on gaps in the IMCD portfolio.
“Eric’s expertise and leadership skills will be invaluable as we continue to innovate and deliver high-quality solutions to our customers” said Marc Jackson, CEO of Teckrez.
