Supplier Change Control Policy
At Teckrez, we value our strong partnerships with suppliers and recognize that maintaining quality, consistency, and compliance requires close collaboration. Our MOC (management of change) process ensures that any modifications to product specifications, manufacturing processes, services, or systems are well-documented, communicated, and managed to minimize disruptions and maintain high standards.
As a specialized distributor, Teckrez relies on our manufacturing partners to control raw materials, processing equipment, conditions, in-process testing, and final release analytical methods. Our products are manufactured to Teckrez Sales Specifications, which align with North American industry standards. Compliance is verified through supplier Certificates of Analysis (COAs), and we also conduct annual independent molecular-level analyses to proactively monitor for any significant changes.
To ensure a smooth supply chain, we ask our suppliers to communicate any significant product, or process changes as early as possible. This allows us to assess potential impacts, update documentation, and inform customers when necessary. Some changes may require customer requalification, which could extend lead times. When in doubt, we encourage suppliers to discuss potential changes with us so we can work together to determine the best course of action.
Our shared goal is to maintain uninterrupted, high-quality supply to customers while fostering transparency and collaboration between Teckrez and our valued suppliers.
Collaborative MOC Expectations for Suppliers
To maintain quality and consistency, we encourage our suppliers to integrate internal quality policies and training on MOC practices, ensuring clear guidelines on when to notify Teckrez of significant changes. Teckrez prefers to audit supplier quality procedures annually.
Before implementing manufacturing changes, we ask suppliers to evaluate potential impacts through lab or pilot work and provide samples to Teckrez for assessment. In cases of emergency changes (e.g., fire, weather disruptions, raw material shortages), we understand immediate action may be necessary. However, we request prompt notification, especially when such changes are publicly known.
To uphold regulatory compliance, suppliers should carefully limit CAS numbers of raw materials, including rework, within quality and manufacturing procedures. “Limit” means only using raw materials that were in the original formulation provided to Teckrez.
Examples of Significant Changes Requiring Notification:

- Process Modifications – New or modified equipment, changes in processing steps (e.g., new reactor, altered filtration, catalyst adjustments, antioxidant reduction, or physical form changes like flakes to pastilles).
- Product Specification Updates – Revisions to technical data sheets or safety data sheets.
- Raw Material Substitutions – Supplier changes that may introduce broader specifications, lower purity, or different impurity profiles.
- Analytical Method Changes – New lab equipment, altered procedures, or updated sampling systems affecting analysis accuracy.
- Extended Product Aging – Teckrez requires fresh product not to exceed 30 days old at time of shipping. If older, notify Teckrez before acceptance of Purchase Order.
- Rework Practices –Suppliers must notify Teckrez in advance of any rework practices and percentages before shipping affected lots. Teckrez limits rework to 5%. More details on acceptable rework practices are outlined in the “Rework Guidelines” section below.

Rework Guidelines
To ensure product consistency and quality, please adhere to the following best practices when managing rework:

- Avoid blending solidified resin from different lots to prevent excessive fines (dust) and visual inconsistencies that may lead to customer concerns.
- Rework should only be added in liquid form (melted) using properly agitated vessels to ensure uniformity.
- Do not adjust resin properties by adding unreacted raw materials after the reaction step.
- Maintain raw material integrity by avoiding the mixing of resins made from different feedstocks (e.g., C9-based resin with C5-based resin, fumarated with non-fumarated resin, terpene with rosin-based resin, etc.).
